Tim Praill (Chief Executive Officer)
Tim Praill joined Upskilled as Chief Executive Officer in November 2021.
Tim comes to Upskilled with extensive experience in education, finance and technology, gained working across Australia, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Most recently, Tim was the Chief Operating Officer of Faethm Ai that was acquired by Pearson in 2021, and prior to this was the Global Head of Strategy, Transformation and Ventures at the ASX listed education company Navitas.
Sadiq Merchant (Executive Director)
Sadiq Merchant joined Upskilled during its start-up phase in May 2009, and has played an integral role in building and growing the recruitment and customer service capability. In 2012, Sadiq was appointed as co-CEO, becoming sole CEO in December 2017. Sadiq had more than 6 years’ experience in the information technology industry, 5 years in the education sector with another RTO, and currently is a committee member of the ACPET and Department of Industries Reference Group.
Linda Garske (General Manager Upskilled for Business)
Linda is a creative thought leader, with 14 years of experience as a trusted advisor to multiple businesses in vocational and professional training. She has a passion for helping businesses build high-achieving teams who are engaged and inspired by lifelong learning.
